Casting at The Folklore Foundry
Lost wax casting
Lost wax casting service is available in sterling silver, gold, brass and bronze. Each casting will be sent to you quality inspected with a cleanly cut short sprue sight and with a pickled finish. Other finishes available on request.
Gold Plating
Hard Gold plating / vermeil service is available in 18k yellow gold. Size and plating thickness effects pricing.
Mould making
Our Mould making service consists of a high quality mould being hand made of your jewellery piece. Each mould is hand cut and tuned, so that perfect wax duplicates can be replicated multiple times.
Wax injecting
Wax injecting service consists of high quality waxes being reproduced multiple times from a mould. This can be either a mould that we have made for you, or one of your own.
Finishing
Finishing and bench work service is available on items that we have cast for you, or for your own pieces. High quality hand and mass machine finishes are available.
Here at The Folklore Foundry we are fully aware that a ‘one size fits all’ approach does not apply when working with bespoke jewellery designs. As we want our service to be as individual as your designs are, the above prices are strictly for initial guidance only.
